MD Ian Prentice updates Proactive Investors on the company’s ongoing development of its Gabanintha Vanadium Project in Western Australia. Significant progress is being made on a definitive feasibility study (DFS) for Gabanintha, on track for completion in the June quarter of 2019. The DFS includes drilling aimed at expanding the indicated mineral resource within the global mineral resource estimate of 119.9 million tonnes at 0.8% vanadium pentoxide and 9.7% titanium dioxide. Recent metallurgical test work has also achieved an impressive high purity 99.53% vanadium pentoxide from Gabanintha ore, providing further confidence for the DFS.
Ian Prentice attends the 11th annual Mines and Money Asia in Hong Kong and discusses the current vanadium market, how regulations in China affect supply and demand, an update on Technology Metals Australia’s Western Australia Project and how he thinks the mining investment landscape has come out of an extended downturn.
MD Ian Prentice interviewed by Daniela Cambone of Kitco News at the Noosa Mining Conference. Vanadium is outpacing other base metals in relevance in the development of clean energy.
